Three strikes and you go to jail.

Sean Lundstrom, 25, of Fremont found that out Tuesday.

Fremont Police were first called to his residence, 1930 N. Irving St., at 7:52 a.m. to check the welfare of a disorderly man.

“He was breaking things inside his home and throwing phone books into the street,” said Lt. Jeff Elliott.

Lundstrom initially refused to come to the door, but at about 9:30 a.m. he did, Elliott said.

“Everything was fine at that time and he wasn't charged with anything,” Elliott said. “All we were doing was checking his well being the first time.”

Just before 11 a.m., officers were called back to Lundstrom's residence because he was taking things into the driveway and breaking them. He said Lundstrom took pieces from a broken mirror and put them in different places around the home.

“We told him he was being disorderly and if he didn't stop we'd have to arrest him,” Elliott said.

A few hours later, that happened.

At 1:38 p.m. officers were called back to the residence a third time because Lundstrom was in his backyard swinging a hose around and hitting neighbors' houses with the hose and water.

Elliott said Lundstrom, who had gone back into his house, initially refused to come to the door, but was taken into custody without further incident at 1:55 p.m.

Lundstrom was charged with disorderly conduct, a Class III misdemeanor. As of press time he remained in the Dodge County Jail in lieu of a $144 cash bond. No future court dates were available.
