Sheriff's office records June reports

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office made the following arrests in June: driving under the influence, nine; driving during suspension/revocation, six; felony assault, five; misdemeanor assault, 12; misdemeanor theft, two; forgery, four; bad checks, 14; drugs, four; liquor law violations, 12; offense against family/children, five; sex offenses, one; vandalism, two; weapons, seven; other, 64.

Offenses included: felony assault, five; misdemeanor assault, eight; burglary, four; felony theft, eight; misdemeanor theft, 12; auto theft, five; recovered stolen vehicles, four; runaways, one; vandalism, eight.

Dodge County deputies issued 77 traffic citations, 124 traffic warnings, 25 equipment warnings, served 40 warrants, assisted 19 motorists and answered 49 criminal complaints, 227 miscellaneous calls and 337 total calls.

There were 16 accidents in the county (nine property damage, seven personal injury). Contributing circumstances included failure to yield right of way, driving too fast for conditions, failure to keep in proper lane, inattention, fatigued/asleep and unknown factors. Contributing environmental circumstances included animal on roadway.
