Police probe theft of money from cars

The Fremont Police Department is investigating a theft of money from two unlocked vehicles.

The suspect was caught in the act, but ran from the scene. He is described as being a white male wearing a hat, khaki shorts and a blue Nike hooded sweat shirt.

Anyone with information regarding this or any other crime is urged to contact CrimeStoppers at 727-4002. There is a cash reward of up to $1,000 and a caller's identity is not required.
