A Sept. 18 jury trial was set Monday in Dodge County District Court for a man accused of sexually assaulting a child he was baby-sitting.
Kenneth Allerton, 30, of Fremont is charged with first-degree sexual assault, a Class II felony, and sexual assault of a child, a Class IIIA felony.
He is accused of sexually assaulting the child while baby-sitting. Allerton is related to the child.
Another relative found out about the incident that prosecutors say occurred between May 3 and May 5 and took the child to the emergency room at Fremont Area Medical Center. Hospitals are required to report any sort of sexual or physical abuse to law enforcement. Court documents show Allerton admitted to the act to police during questioning.
His bond was reduced from 10 percent of $250,000 to 10 percent of $100,000.
Other cases heard Monday included:
* Brett D. Anderson, 46, of Fremont pleaded innocent to possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine with the intent to deliver, a Class II felony. An Aug. 3 deadline was set for pretrial motions and further hearing scheduled for Aug. 6.
* An Aug. 21 jury trial was set for Lawrence Barnes, 19, of Fremont. He is charged with possession of a controlled substance-cocaine with the intent to deliver, a Class II felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, an infraction.

McKough also is representing Hauger on similar criminal charges in Washington County, the reason for the motion to revoke his probation.
* Mary Lottman, 43, of Fremont had an arraignment on a motion to revoke her probation for theft, a Class IV felony, continued until Aug. 6 so she could consult an attorney. She is accused of not making restitution payments for 11 of the 18 months she has been on probation.
* Jeremy S. Ridgebear, 25, of Fremont was sentenced to two years of intense supervised probation for possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, a Class IV felony.
