FORT CALHOUN -- Wahoo Neumann swept the relay races and Lizzy Mach won three events to help the Lady Cavaliers capture the B-1 district track title Thursday.
Neumann finished with 168 points while Omaha Roncalli/Duchesne was second with 69. Arlington was third with 67.5.
Mach won the long jump (16-2 3/4), the triple jump (36-0 1/2) and the 100 high hurdles (15.30).
Teammate McKenzie Fujan, who was second in the 100 hurdles, won the 300s in 46.70. The Lady Cavaliers also picked up a win in the 200 where Emily Kmiecik was first in 26.70.
Fujan and Kmiecik ran legs on Neumann’s victorious 400-meter relay team. Megan Meduna and Holly Fujan joined them in running a 51.10.
The Lady Cavaliers also won the 1,600- and 3,200-meter relays.
Junior sprinter Becca Goodwin won the 100 and placed second in the 200 to lead Arlington. Senior Caroline Jamison won the 3,200 in 11:23.80.
Erin Curran of Wahoo High placed second in the 1,600 (5:24.50) and third in the 3,200 (11:44.50).
Boys Town won the boys championship with 138 points. Blair was second with 115. Arlington was fourth with 53.
Junior Taylor Johnson of the Eagles won the shot put with a toss of 51-9 1/2. Teammate Alvin Voss was second at 50-11 1/4. Voss also won the discus with a throw of 162.
Kyle Bartek of Neumann won the 3,200 in 10:08.9.
