Emma Boothe

Emma L. Boothe, 57, of Grove, Okla., died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.

She was born April 21, 1951, in Fremont to Ralph E. Waage and Floy P. Neil Waage. She was working as office manager for Rockman Youth Center at the time of her death.

Survivors include: her husband, James “Chris” Boothe of Grove; her sons, James Boothe III (and wife, Laura), Christopher Burbach (and wife, Poppy) and Seth Boothe (and wife, Christy); her daughters, Julie McCarthy (and husband, Tim) and Lonetta Kawecki; and 10 grandchildren.

The funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove with the Rev. Leon Weese officiating. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Grove.

To Chris and family. I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Emma and Janelle waay back in grade school. The old Brugh School on hwy 8. When we played softball at recess and it was Emma Lou's (thats what we called her then) turn at bat, we all moved back because she could hit it a mile! Those were really the good old days. You have my deepest sympathy.
