Dear Cousin John,
I always remember the family gathering when we talked and played games of cards and other games together. It seems like only yesterday. I know you had some rather sad beginnings to your life. But I know you had some good times as well. The Strong family has always been a close family who dealt with each tragic event together. We take what life gives us, but God gives us his grace and strength through family and friends to make it through these times. Now you are with Him and will see Him face to face. You will be with your Parents and get to know them better. For I know a three year olds memory is not enough. Rest in Peace dear Cousin and know that you are still loved and remembered by all.

Elvira, I remember Buddy as a boy when years ago Chris and I lived in your apartment. He was a fun boy, and grew into a fine man. He lived his life bravely.

For the little bit of time I knew him in this lifetime he left a lasting impression. Although I am far from Fremont now you are in my thoughts

Dear Family,
It wasn't until I was signing in that I remembered I too had another name (Little Jim) so everyone in the family knew which Jim we were talking about. Just as Little Bud for Cousin John. I have been in California for almost 25 years, but still consider Nebraska as home. Over the years I always had a reminder of where I came from on July 4th and remembered that was John's birthday. Rest in peace my Cousin.

I have vivid memories of "Buddy" from our old school days. Yes, he was a very brave person and even with the tragedy he personally faced and overcame, his smile and friendliness never failed to brighten everyone's day.
My sympathy goes out to all of his friends and family at this time.
So many people can learn from the life example set by our friend Buddy Strong.
His life will long be remembered.

Dearest Aunt Sis and Cousin Rosemary,

We are so sorry to hear the very sad news about "Little Bud". You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Undoubtedly, the loving and comforting environment Bud experienced in your home helped him to deal courageously with overwhelming emotional and physical challenges.

How comforting to read the messages from his cousins and long-time family friends.

Emily, Ashley and I send you our love from our home here in Santiago, Dominican Republic.

Love,

Chuck, Emily and Ashley Strong
