Linda L. Williams, 63, of rural Cedar Bluffs died Friday,

July 4, 2008, at her home.

Linda L. Spencer was born May 29, 1945, in Cozad to Richard and Ruby (Russell) Spencer. She grew up in Cozad, later moving to Fremont where she went to work for an egg company. Later, she worked for several area restaurants, including Eldon’s Place. For many years, she was an Avon lady, and at one time was the No. 1 salesperson in the state of Nebraska. She married Terry Williams on March 7, 1965, in Fremont. They first lived in Fremont, then moved to rural Cedar Bluffs where they farmed and raised livestock.

Survivors include: her husband, Terry; a son, Terry (and wife, Dawn) Williams Jr. of Cedar Bluffs; two grandchildren, Jennifer and T.J.; a brother, Frank (and wife, Nancy) Spencer of Blair; three sisters, Delores (Mrs. Bill) Livingston of Lexington, Judy (Mrs. Bernard) Case of Fowler, Colo. and Beulah (Mrs. Karl) Tiede of Overton; and a sister-in-law, Mary Spencer of Folsom, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.

The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont with the Rev. Tom Shaw officiating. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Monday, with family receiving friends 6:30-8 p.m., at Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont. Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

A memorial will be established in her memory.
