Don’t let your passenger fall out of the car if you don’t want to get arrested for drunken driving.
Jeremiah Otten, 29, of Fremont learned that early this morning when he was charged with driving under the influence first offense and refusal to submit to a chemical test, Class W misdemeanors, Fremont Police reported.
Lt. Jeff Elliott said Otten was arrested after officers were called at 2:05 a.m. to the area of 11th and L streets where Otten’s passenger was hanging out the window and fell out. He said the passenger was injured, but refused medical treatment.
