Three people were injured in a three-vehicle accident near Snyder Thursday morning.

Dodge County Sheriff Steve Hespen said the crash happened at 9:46 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 275 and Nebraska Highway 91, about 3 1/2 miles east of Snyder.

He said a 2006 Dodge Stratus driven by Thomas Braesch, 55, of Fremont was northbound on U.S. Highway 275 when he attempted to turn left onto Nebraska Highway 91. Braesch turned in front of a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero driven by Shelley Hynes, 51, of O’Neill. The Hynes vehicle struck the passenger side of the Braesch vehicle which then was pushed into a 2005 Ford Econoline Van driven by Michael Wattier, 56, of Omaha that was stopped at the eastbound stop sign on Nebraska Highway 91.

Hespen said Braesch and his wife, Cindi, along with Hynes, were all transported to the West Point hospital with unknown injuries.
