Blair Public Library will host “Christmas in July” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday to benefit the new toy library.
There will be Christmas cookies and punch, Christmas crafts, games with prizes, a special story time featuring a reading of “Mrs. Claus Eleven Months Off,” and a chance to have your picture taken with jolly old St. Nick relaxing in his summer attire. Pictures with Santa are from 10 a.m. to noon ($5 donation) courtesy of E.S. Photography and story time is at 10 a.m.
To make a donation of a toy, visit the Blair Public Library Web site at www.blairpubliclibrary.com or visit one of the many “Christmas in July” trees in town to view a list of toys desired for this program.
The toy library will be available to all library patrons and will offer the opportunity to borrow “learning toys” for children (and grandchildren). For more information, call Angela Archer at (402) 426-7270.
