A teenager was injured in a one-vehicle motorcycle accident Thursday evening near Scribner.

Sheriff Steve Hespen said Craig C. Boyle, 18, of Scribner was westbound on County Road F Boulevard on a 1982 Kawasaki motorcycle when he lost control in a curve and ended up in a ditch at 6:55 p.m.

Boyle was transported to Fremont Area Medical Center with leg, arm and neck injuries before being taken by air ambulance to Creighton Medical Center.

Hespen said there was no alcohol involvement in the accident.

Boyle’s condition was not available at press time.
