Seth Michael Jaros, 35, of Fremont died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2008, from Acute Lymphatic Leukemia at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
He was born on Dec. 29, 1972 in York, to Carol and Michael Jaros. He was baptized Jan. 21, 1973, at St. Helena’s in Grafton and confirmed at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont.
He grew up and attended schools in Fremont. As a child, he was involved in Cub Scouts and Boys Scouts. He was a member of the Fremont Eagles Club Aeries 200 and Sheet Machinists Union IMA No. 31 and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont. He was employed by Oil Gear of Fremont.
Survivors include: his parents; Carol and Michael Jaros of Fremont; son, Joseph "Joey" Jaros of Fremont; two sisters, Jennifer Jaros (and husband, Jim) Thomson and Jill Jaros all of Phoenix, Ariz.; fiance, Dawn Baker of Fremont; cousins; aunts; uncles and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Les and Dorothy Herley and Joseph and Valeria Jaros.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont with the Rev. Owen Korte officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Fremont. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont with a vigil service at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to Joey’s education fund and the Dodge County Humane Society.
Moser Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
