Driver safety training will be offered from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 11 and Sept. 18 at Fremont Senior-Adult Center.
AARP presents the eight-hour classroom safety refresher course for drivers age 50 and older. Participants may quality for an auto insurance premium reduction, refine existing driving skills and learn about age-related changes that may affect their driving.
The class, sponsored by the Fremont Parks and Recreation Department and Fremont Senior-Adult Center, is limited to 20 participants. The instructor is Russ Person.
The fee of $10 includes a book. To register, call or stop by the parks and recreation office, 727-2810, 925 N. Broad St. The registration fee will be paid to the instructor at the first class.
