Josh Smrcinia won the Bryon Invitational middle school cross country meet Saturday while Taylor Poehling finished second.
Smrcinia won with a time of 9:10 and Poehling crossed the line in 9:25.
Trevor Wiegert was fifth (9:50) and Artoro Garcia sixth (9:52). Danny Aldaba was eighth (10:04), Mason Brown 10th (10:17), Connor Jenkins 11th (10:19) and Chandler Maly 13th (10:33).
Other runners were J.T. Vecera, Chase Jenson, Kody Drews, Taylor Lindgren, Sam Hartman, Sam Hoshor, Tristan Bracker, Collin Brown, Jarret Sivak, Austin Herre, C.J. Huss, Luke Nevius, Dean Smith, Morgan Giesick, and Austin Poehling.
