Man charged with driving violation

A Fremont man was arrested early this morning for driving on a suspended license after an off-duty officer witnessed him speeding, Fremont Police reported.

Steve Dunn, 23, was charged with driving under suspension, a Class III misdemeanor.

Lt. Jeff Elliott said an officer leaving the station after his shift at 1:07 a.m. saw Dunn traveling at a high rate of speed on C Street and then continue onto Main Street. An on-duty officer stopped Dunn in the 500 block of S. Main Street and discovered his license was suspended.
