Muzzleloading workshop set

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has scheduled a “Smokepole Deer Hunting” clinic for people interested in learning how to shoot and hunt deer with muzzleloading firearms on Nov. 24 at the Cabela’s La Vista store.

The free clinic is scheduled for 6:30-9 p.m., with classroom instruction covering several topics, including muzzleloader equipment, hunting strategies, deer biology and Nebraska’s muzzleloader deer hunting season.

The clinic is part of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission’s Advanced Hunter Education Program.
