Vancil completes basic training

Air Force Airman Brandon K. Vancil has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, core values, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations.

He is the son of Patri and Rodney Vancil of Fremont. Vancil is a 2007 graduate of Fremont High School.

Congrats man, your going so far in life, don't stop now! You can achieve whatever you set your mind to. You will have to come see the new baby whenever you stop by Nebraska for a visit.

Brandon,

You will never know how deeply proud I am of you. You seem to amaze me everyday. It feels like yesterday we were playing together and fighting. But now we are grown, responsible and loving siblings. I could have never asked for a better brother. Thank you.
