Man charged with drunken driving

An Arlington man was arrested Tuesday afternoon and accused of drunken driving after crashing into cars at a dealership, Fremont Police reported.

Shannon Baade, 39, was charged with driving under the influence-second offense, a Class W misdemeanor.

Lt. Jeff Elliott said officers were called at 3:05 p.m. to the Dillons dealership at 2420 E. 23rd St. because a white truck driven by Baade had driven into several parked vehicles in the area. Elliott said after striking one vehicle in the parking lot, Baade took off running, but was detained by employees.

Baade is free on bond and has a Jan. 27 arraignment date.
