Northeast CC will offer PDF class

Northeast Community College in West Point will soon offer a five-session class on different PDF forms.

The class, Adobe Acrobat Fillable Forms, with course number DP 0200-30/09S, meets Mondays and Tuesdays, Jan. 19 to Feb. 2, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the West Point Education Center.

Instructor Patty Schinstock will review the pros and cons of using templates for forms creation vs. designing forms from scratch. She also will review creating a form and finally, collecting and managing form data.

Schinstock also will teach participants how to convert paper forms to interactive PDF forms, add text fields, check boxes and buttons, and then distribute the forms. She also will review how to track and manage forms.

Students are encouraged to bring a form to class on a flash drive, CD, or a paper form.

Cost of this five-session class is $49.90.
