Redeemer Lutheran Preschool will hold second semester registration until Jan. 6 for all new 3 year olds for the Tuesday/Thursday class only. For more information, contact director Nancy Schroeder, 654-3835.
All preschoolers and area students/families are invited to the Hooper Public Library Readathon from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. This inter-generational event will benefit “Books for Babies” welcome baskets that will be given to all new Hooper area infants/families to encourage families to read together.
All preschool families are encouraged to sign up to read, donate pledges and curl up with a good book and your child during the readathon. Special guest readers, games and lunch also are highlights for the readathon. Grandparents, parents and teenagers are especially invited to participate by sharing their favorite book.
Beginning Jan. 6, Redeemer Lutheran preschoolers will explore “Space, Snowflakes, Penguins and Astronauts.”
All Redeemer church musicians/friends/spouses are invited to an appreciation open house from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Schroeders, 112 N. Spring St.
