Fremont Police are investigating five Tuesday thefts, one burglary and one attempted burglary.
Lt. Jeff Elliott said four of the thefts were reported between 12:20 and 3:10 p.m. from vehicles around the Midland Lutheran College campus in the 1000 block of N. Platte Avenue. Stereo equipment was stolen from all of the cars and the total loss and damage was estimated $2,530.
At 4:28 p.m., officers were called at 4:28 p.m. to the
500 block of W. 23rd Street where a car was broken into and stereo equipment stolen. The loss was estimated at $750.
Elliott said officers responded at 3:45 p.m. to the 1200 block of N. L Street where a burglary was reported and a Nintendo Gamecube and knives were reported taken. The loss was estimated at $90.
At 9:44 p.m. officers were called to the 10 block of
S. Platte Avenue where an attempted burglary was reported. Nothing was taken, but there was $30 in damage reported from forced entry.
