Nott to spend semester at sea

Graham Nott of Fremont, a junior finance major at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, will participate in a UNL study-abroad program next year with a Semester at Sea.

Nott will depart Saturday for a semester on a ship that will travel around the world. His stops will include the Bahamas, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Egypt, India, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan, Guatemala and Panama. He will participate in lectures on the ship while at sea and spend three to five days exploring each country.

A graduate of Fremont High School, Nott is the son of Shelly Hansen of Fremont and Troy Nott of Cedar Bluffs.

Each year, more than

700 UNL students participate in the university’s study-abroad programs in more than 50 countries around the world.
