LETTER: Petition leader offended by comments I would like to respond to Kristin Ostrom’s comments about the reasons for the community picnic. She was quoted as saying, "People were basing judgments about other people based on what they looked like without understanding anything about them." This makes it sound like everyone who signed the petition (more than 4,100 registered voters who pay taxes) is racist. This is simply not true, and we take offense to this comment. |
