The Tagge-Rutherford Fighting Elk 10's youth baseball team finished the season 48-9 and winning two state championships.
The team first won the USSSA AAA state tourney by going 5-0 and then recently won the USSSA Majors State Title by going 5-1 and defeating the Papillion Monarchs 5-2 in the title game.
No team at any USSSA level as won two state titles in the same season. The Fighting Elk were AA champs last year.
Team members include Spencer Pyle, David Gatlin, Dylan Wagner, Brett Graver, Dillon Schutte, Braden Wright, Spencer Westman, Michael Dickmeyer, Joseph Roecker, Justin Roecker, and Nick Kussman. Coaches were Chris Costello, Mike Dickmeyer, Troy Schutte and Head Coach Terry Graver.
