Alberts ends season 14-1
Alberts Lawncare defeated Taylor & Martin 13-3 in the championship game of the Lady Hawks 17u softball championship game recently.
Offensive leaders for Alberts were Kali Schueth who had two hits and a walk and Amy Avis who ended 3-3 with a single, double and inside the park home run.
Taylor & Martin was led by Charlee Wiese and Bree Craig with a hit each.
Defensively, Alberts was led by Scheuth and Jessi Schollmeyer.
Holly Neville got the win and Erina Winterfelt took the loss.
Alberts finished the tourney with a 3-0 record to finish with a 14-1 record on the season. Alberts became the first Lady Hawks 17u team to end as league and tourney champions.
Members of the Alberts Lawncare 17u team were: Shawnda Shanahan, Gabby Weyhrich, Blaire Alberts, Kali Scheuth, Amy Avis, Myranda Fagan, Jessi Schollmeyer, Natalie DeShazer, Sierra Stoll, Holly Neville, Jenni Howard, Shannon Rezac. Coaches were Head Coach Hank Schollmeyer and assistant Larry Weyhrich.
Daubert wins 10u title
Daubert Construction won the 10u Lady Hawks softball league regular season title with a 9-2-1 record.
Members of the team include: Summer Clausen, Bodie Daubert, Daylee Daubert, Greely Daubert, Avery Decker, Allison Dieckmann, Shelby Fenner, Allison Heineman, Haley Kempf, Mikayla Paulson, Selena Pinales, Katie Sleister, and Anna Vobedja.
