Police investigate home burglary

Fremont Police are investigating a burglary to a home reported Friday morning.

Sgt. Shane Wimer said someone removed a window air conditioner to gain access to the home in the 900 block of North Union Street. Wimer said $2,500 cash was stolen.

Police also are investigating a report of a stolen pure from a business on Saturday.

Wimer said the purse was stolen from behind the hostess stand from Outpost Grill at Wilderness Lodge. The loss was estimated at $65.
