Police investigate vehicle damage

Fremont Police are investigating several reports of damage to vehicles.

Lt. Kurt Bottorff said the back windows were broken out of two vehicles in the 700 block of West First Street early this morning. The total damage was $1,100.

Also early this morning, officers received a report of a driver’s side window broken out of a vehicle on East Cuming Street. Cash and a stereo faceplate were stolen from the vehicle and the total loss was $345.

Officers received a report Tuesday afternoon of damage to paint on a car that was egged in the 200 block of South Clarmar Street. The damage was $1,100.

On Tuesday morning, a car in the 1600 block of West Ninth Street was reported to be scratched. A white substance also was thrown on the car. Bottorff said the damage was estimated at $1,000.

Two side windows also were reported broken out of a car in the 800 block of Luther Road Tuesday morning. Bottorff said the damage was $400.

A business in the 100 block of North D Street reported Tuesday morning that tires were slashed on two of its vans. The loss was $400.
