Police look into thefts from vehicles

Fremont Police are investigating the theft of items from two vehicles reported Wednesday afternoon.

Lt. Kurt Bottorff said someone stole a purse and cell phone from an unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of North H Street. The loss was $285.

A stereo faceplate, remote and case were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of North Bell Street. The loss was $100.

Police also are investigating the theft of a purse reported at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Bottorff said the woman was shopping at Walmart when her purse containing cash, credit cards, license and other items was stolen. The loss was $250.
