A Fremont woman was arrested for domestic assault Thursday morning.
Fremont Police Lt. Kurt Bottorff said officers received a call at 7:52 a.m. from a man in the 500 block of Fifth Street. The individual sought police, but didn’t indicate why. They later received another call in reference to a disturbance.
When officers arrived, the man, who had visible injuries, said his wife had assaulted him. The woman began screaming and was uncooperative, Bottorff said.
Patricia R. Wiggins, 51, of Fremont was charged with third-degree domestic assault, disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors.
She was transported to the Dodge County Jail where she remained this morning. Bond was set at 10 percent of $15,000.
