Police probe theft of motor

Fremont Police are investigating the theft of a motor from a grain-hauling trailer.

Lt. Kurt Bottorff said the motor and other items were reported stolen Thursday morning from the 2000 block of North Somers Avenue.

The items included a Briggs and Stratton gas motor, 12-volt battery, 6-gallon tank and a wire harness. Estimated loss is $2,675.

There are no suspects at this time.
