A Prague man was arrested this morning for leaving the scene of an accident between a pickup truck and a motorcycle Sunday night.
Saunders County Sheriff Kevin Stukenholtz said 49-year-old William J. Kuncl was charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, a Class IIIA felony.
Kuncl, who was driving the pickup truck, is accused of leaving the scene after the accident on Nebraska Highway 79 in Morse Bluff.
Two people on the motorcycle, 29-year-old Shane Mock and 25-year-old Abby Hill, both of Bellevue, were taken by helicopter to University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Stukenholtz said both were in fair condition.
Stukenholtz said Kuncl was leaving Morse Bluff and turning south onto the highway when the motorcycle, which was heading north, struck the front of his truck.
