Fremont Police cited two individuals following a two-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon at Military and Lincoln avenues.

Deputy Chief Jeff Elliott said 30-year-old Luke Grenier of Fremont was driving his 2002 Chevy Avalanche west on Military Avenue when he ran a red light and struck a 1994 Chevy Blazer driven by 30-year-old Sheila Cary of Fremont, who was going south on Lincoln Avenue.

Cary’s vehicle spun and rolled over, Elliott said.

Cary and her 5-year-old son had minor injuries from the accident, but were not transported for medical attention.

Grenier was cited for a traffic signal violation and Cary was cited for no child restraint.

Grenier’s vehicle had $2,000 damage in the accident. Damage to Cary’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
