A Fremont man remained in Dodge County Jail this morning following his arrest early Sunday.
Fremont Police Deputy Chief Jeff Elliott said officers were called shortly after 1:15 a.m. to the 1600 block of North Logan Street on a report of an intoxicated stranger trying to enter a house. The man was threatening the home’s residents with a snow shovel, Elliott said.
When officers arrived, they found 30-year-old Nicholas Crull crawling under a vehicle. Elliott said Crull was yelling and swearing at people.
Crull was charged with third-degree assault, disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.
His bond had not been set as of press time.
