Two men remained in Dodge County Jail this morning following their arrests Monday on domestic assault charges.

Fremont Police Lt. Kurt Bottorff said officers were called shortly after 2 p.m. to an apartment in the 2400 block of Buckingham Road on a report of a domestic assault.

A female at the residence said she had been assaulted and had minor injuries.

Bottorff said 28-year-old Carl Nolte Jr. was arrested as he was fleeing the scene in a vehicle. Nolte was charged with third-degree domestic assault, criminal mischief, disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct.

Shortly before 10 p.m., officers received a report of an assault in the 800 block of South Broad Street.

Bottorff said a female told officers a man had thrown a toy at her and made threats. The female had visible injuries, Bottorff said.

Guadalupe Montante-Sanchez, 30, of Fremont was charged with felony domestic assault.

Bond had not been set for Nolte or Montante-Sanchez as of press time.
