Passing ... GO
If you are looking to move your business, or if you are looking to start one up, this is where you start.
The Greater Fremont Development Council (GFDC) will point you in the right direction.
The goals of the GFDC include broadening the consumer base of publicly owned utilities; increasing employment through existing business expansion; and encouraging community growth and job creation by attracting new companies and services to the area—from start-ups to expansion of existing franchises to the Fremont Area.
The GFDC is your encylcopedia of knowledge for legislation, grant writing, business financing and business planning.
In addition, the City of Fremont, Dodge County and the Fremont Department of Utilities are dues-contributing investors of the council. Each entity provides valuable information and services to the GFDC’s efforts toward economic development.
The GFDC office is located within the walls of the Fremont Area Chamber building on 6th and Broad Streets, allowing a valuable partnership between the two entities.
