Where the ... HEART IS
For some of the most beautiful and historic homes in Fremont, look no further than Barnard Park.
One of the first developments in Fremont, it was home to many of the city’s founding fathers, including E.H. Barnard, for whom the area is named.
The more than 20 block area is on the National Register for Historic Places and still holds many of the original homes and brick streets.
Throughout the year you will find the Military Avenue and Clarkson Street park area full of family picnics, outdoor concerts and children playing.
Another of the cities most historic areas lies up and down Nye Avenue.
Large brick homes and beautiful garden areas highlight the Nye Avenue district.
This area also houses the May Museum, the official museum of Dodge County.
Modern Day Lifestyle
Modern homes and subdivisions line the east side of Fremont in close proximity to Fremont High School, Fremont Middle School and many churches.
Deer Pointe provides a brick-construction subdivision creating another close-knit neighborhood within the city.
Lake Ventura, located a few miles west of Fremont, offers residents homes on a man-made lake ideal for pontooning and backyard volleyball.
Fremont also offers affordable and upscale apartment living in addition to homes of all makes and sizes providing for all of your housing needs.
Companionship And Care
Santa Claus and his elves preparing gift packages to area seniors is just one of the many services that Home Instead Senior Care provides.
Home Instead is a non-medical provider that aids independent seniors in day-to-day life. They are capable of providing a number of services including companionship.
Companionship can encompass anything from providing meals to assisting with bill paying; playing games to providing transportation for visits to the doctor.
The Home Instead care givers help to brighten the days of many Fremont and area residents who are otherwise without companionship.
For long-term care needs, the Fremont Area Medical Center houses A.J. Merrick Manor with 162 beds in private and semi-private skilled care rooms.
The city also offers many privatized options for assisted-living such as Nye Square Retirement Community, Nye Senior Services. Shalimar Gardens, Arbor Manor, the Lyndhurst House and Pathfinder House.
