Love-Larson Opera House
The Love-Larson Opera House Foundation was founded in 1986 to provide an endowment fund to assure continued preservation of the 1888 landmark. The Opera House, 541 N. Broad St., is owned by a nonprofit community group and is used for meetings, plays and other events.Bob Yanike is foundation president.

Fremont Area Medical Center
The Fremont Area Medical Foundation was founded to enhance and expand medical center programs and services. Shelly Sandeen is the fund development director for the foundation. Her office is on the second floor of the medical center, 450 E. 23rd St., 727-3566.back to the top
Fremont Area Community Foundation
The Fremont Area Community Foundation supports civic, cultural, educational and social service improvements in Fremont and its surrounding communities. Founded in 1982, it is a tax-exempt community trust providing a way for individuals and businesses to give back to their community.
The foundation makes grants from the earnings from its endowment fund, and also houses scholarship funds, donor-advised funds and funds created by organizations for charitable purposes. It has over $7 million in assets and has granted over $3.5 million to the Fremont area since inception.
Kathy Rhea is board president; Kristine Gale is retiring as executive director.
