Various public servants work for Fremonters on the city, county, state and federal levels.

Fremont is served by Mayor Skip Edwards and eight councilpeople who represent local residents in four wards.

Dodge County is served by a board of supervisors. Seven supervisors from around the Fremont-area serve on the board.
