Fremont Area Medical Center

Fremont Area Medical Center, 450 E. 23rd St., strives to provide quality health care. Staff members, many of whom have worked at FAMC for decades, seek to give personal care.

FAMC offers the latest technology and professionals who use a team approach to health care. Area residents will find services they need at FAMC, but also find people they know.

The medical center offers all-private rooms, newly expanded medical services and leading-edge technology designed to better serve patient needs.

Opening this year is a state-of-the-art imagine center.

Today, the medical center has one goal: improving the quality of life for the individuals in the area it serves. This was the guiding vision of its founding fathers, who chartered Dodge County Hospital in 1940.

FAMC is a non-profit healthcare facility governed by a seven-member board of trustees appointed by the Dodge County Board of Supervisors. While county owned, FAMC provides services through its own operations and finances, using no county or taxpayer funds. FAMC is one of the largest employers in the Fremont area.
